The rapid proliferation of communication technologies and software engineering practices have witnessed the fast-growing research interests in information and communication technologies and social networking, which tends to play an integral part in our daily lives. The 6^th International Conference on Pervasive Computing and Social Networking [ICPCSN 2026] promotes the development of pervasive communication systems and pursuing Social Networking applications for communication platforms, networks and devices. ICPCSN 2026 aims to collaborate and promote state-of-the-art research works on the conceptual, constructive, empirical, theoretical and practical implementations of pervasive Computing and Social Networking methods for developing more novel ideas and innovations in the emerging Information and Communication Technologies [ICT].

Founded in 2008 by the Smt. Mahalakshmi Ammal Educational Trust, R P Sarathy Institute of Technology (An Autonomous Institution) (formerly known as Narasu’s Sarathy Institute of Technology) represents a rich tradition of excellence in technology-based education. A premier institution among the affiliates of Anna University, R P Sarathy Institute of Technology owes its vision to Late Sri R P Sarathy, an entrepreneur, educationalist and philanthropist. Located on the Salem–Bangalore Highway, the institute offers a picturesque setting, flanked by the scenic Yercaud Hills. R P Sarathy Institute of Technology, in its 18 years of existence, is a reputed institution in the State of Tamilnadu. The college is ACCREDITED BY NAAC WITH 'A++' GRADE. The college in its pursuit for quality in technical education has earned 40th ranking in the State (source: Times of India).

R P Sarathy Institute of Technology, in its 18 years of existence, has established itself as a reputed institution in the State of Tamil Nadu. The college presently offers seven Undergraduate Programmes — B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering (Cyber Security), Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and B.Tech. in Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence and Data Science — with a total sanctioned intake of 720 seats.

In addition, the institution offers two Postgraduate Programmes — M.E. (VLSI Design) and M.E. (Computer Science and Engineering) — with a total sanctioned intake of 24 seats.

For the academic year 2026–2027, the total approved intake has increased to 924 seats, reflecting our continued growth and commitment to academic excellence. This includes 780 seats for Undergraduate programmes, with an additional 60 seats introduced in B.E. Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning).

At the postgraduate level, 24 seats continue to be allotted for M.E. programmes, and a new MBA programme with an intake of 120 seats has been introduced.

Regular Author Guidelines

Any submission should be explicitly marked as full paper in the Email Subject.

Full papers can contribute Scientific/technical research works, survey works and industrial experiences that include significant advances in field of pervasive computing and social networking. Papers should be no longer than 6-8 pages, including references and well‐marked appendices.

All papers must be novel and not simultaneously submitted to another conference. All paper submissions must include a title, abstract, list of keywords, methodology, results/discussion, and conclusion. All submissions will be subjected to a double‐blind review process by at least two reviewers.

Submission

Submitted manuscripts should represent novel and significant research contributions.

To that effect:

The first page should contains all author names or with correct affiliations.
Authors should carefully review figures and appendices (especially survey instruments) to ensure the proper citation.
Authors should carefully proofread the manuscript before submitting to the conference in order to avoid both typographical and grammatical errors.

Papers that are plagiraized may be rejected without review.

Review Result

The submitted paper will be sent to two expert referees for review. After the paper has been reviewed the result may be:-

Major Revision Required - You must revise the paper and upload a new PDF version of the paper. When this has been accepted, an official acceptance letter will be sent and authors will be asked for the publication files.
Accepted Awaiting Publication Files - Your paper has been accepted. You now need to upload the publication files.
Rejected – The paper is unsuitable for the conference.

Publication Ethics

Researchers should conduct their research - from research proposal to publication - in line with best practices and codes of conduct. In rare cases it is possible that ethical issues or misconduct could be encountered in your journal when research is submitted for publication. In such case, the paper will be rejected.

Plagiarism Policy

The paper prior to submission should be checked for plagiarism. The similarity content should not exceed 15%. Further, you have to strictly implement the following ethical guidelines for publication:
Any form of self-plagiarism or plagiarism from others' work(s) should be avoided.
If any model / concept / figure / table / data by any previously published work are used in your article, authors should properly cite a reference to the proposed novel research work.
If you are using any copyrighted material, you should acquire prior permission from the copyright holder.

Registration

Registration Guidelines

Once your paper is accepted, the registration process begins; you have to complete the following steps.

Step-1 : Final Camera Ready Paper

Final Papers submitted for the conference proceedings must be formatted according to the instructions which can be found on the submission page and also it must be revised according to the reviewer comments sent along with the acceptance letter.

All Papers should comply with a guide length of 6-8 pages in publisher format.

Step-2 : Copyright form

In the final documents, the author should include a scanned completed copy of the Copyright form, with at least one of the authors having duly signed the copyright form.

For the purposes of this form, the author should:

Include paper title and list of authors in the paper in the first page
Include corresponding Authors [First author] signature in the last page

Guidance for IEEE Publications Regarding AI-Generated Text

At its February 2023 meeting the IEEE Publication Services and Products Board passed the following motion, to be used as initial guidance by IEEE Publications:

“The use of artificial intelligence (AI)–generated text in an article shall be disclosed in the acknowledgements section of any paper submitted to an IEEE Conference or Periodical. The sections of the paper that use AI-generated text shall have a citation to the AI system used to generate the text.”

Effective immediately, Editors-in-Chief should take steps to ensure that relevant author-facing communications, such as author instructions on the sponsoring Society/council website, are updated and editors and reviewers are aware of the guidance.
